Take a dip in the ocean at the end of your ride

Jamaica is the 3rd largest island in the Caribbean with an average temperature of 83 degrees. The coldest month is January when it dips down to an average of 76 degrees. Burr! No wonder it is an amazing winter escape! White sand beaches with an average sea temperature of 80.4 degrees. Let’s go snorkeling!

You may have heard lately that Jamaica has heightened its security, due to increasing crimes.  When traveling outside of the U.S. you must always be aware of your surroundings and be careful. As I always say, “You aren’t in Kansas anymore, Dorothy.” You can’t let fear keep you from taking an incredible vacation. So let’s see what all Jamaica has to offer.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Jamaica ‘invented’ the all-inclusive resort concept. Sandals was born and has evolved here. But there is so much more. Private villas, boutique hotels and even treehouse lodging. (How cool, right?) Villas that allow you to cook your own meals if you like, or you can relax and have a complete wait staff at your beck and call. All-inclusive resorts like Iberostar, Riu, Grand Palladium, Secrets or Jewel. Family resorts like Beaches. Adult only and even clothing optional at Hedonism. 6 different resort areas around the island, with something for every one.

And on return to the airport to depart, you get to experience a first class departure lounge with drinks and snacks until you are escorted to your gate.

Kingston is Jamaica’s capital, and here you will find the second airport if you are visiting Kingston, Port Antonio or the Blue Mountains. The have Club Kingston with the same VIP treatment you get with Club MoBay.  And the private jet airport in Ocho Rios is available for passengers going to north coast resorts and villas.  For your convenience, car rentals, taxi services, and shuttles are easily accessible here.
