As Hawaii is our 50th state and Infinity Travelaz is a destination specialist of Hawaii, we have spent lots of time exploring the islands. Each island is unique and different than their neighboring island, but yet they all have that magnificent Aloha Spirit.

Oahu is the island most people visit first. Here you will find Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head Crater, The Punchbowl Crater National Cemetery, The Dole Pineapple Plantation, Paradise Cove, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor and lots of WWII history. The drive on H2 from the North Shore to Pearl City will take you right through Schofield Barracks, the military base,  still active on Oahu.

Maui is the second largest island of Hawaii, and is known as the Valley Isle. We have driven every inch of this island, and without be a bit prejudice, it is our favorite. Here you will find the Haleakala Crater, the sacred Iao Valley, world famous beaches, the best place to view migrating humpback whales during the winter months and lots of great resorts and restaurants. The Hana Highway is a must do, and I have to say after driving it myself and taking a small van tour, I really enjoyed letting someone else do the driving. I actually got to see a lot more that way!

Lanai and Molokai are 2 small islands off the Maui coast. Lanai has great snorkeling around it and some very high end resorts on it. Molokai is like taking a step back in time. No traffic lights and very laid back and serene. To get to Lanai from Maui, take a short ferry ride. To get to Molokai, you will need to take a very short flight.

Kauai is known as the Garden Isle, which is a very fitting nickname. This island gets rain and lots of it! Here you will find lush mountains and valleys with beautiful, cascading waterfalls, tropical rainforests and forking rivers. Some of the island is only accessible by air or sea, and you cannot drive completely around the island. More than it’s dramatic beauty, this island has lots of outdoor activities to offer like hiking, zip lining, kayaking and snorkeling. It is also home to the amazing Waimea Canyon aka the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

The Island of Hawaii is home to Kilauea, the active volcano we hear so much about. The youngest, largest and most southeastern island in the chain, it sheer size is awe-inspiring. There are four amazing and different climate zones ranging from Wet Tropical to Polar Tundra, a result of the shielding effect and elevations of the massive volcanoes Maunakea and Maunaloa.  Things to see on the island are the gorgeous black sand beaches, taro farms – the use taro to make poi, beautiful waterfalls, and of course the volcanos. Golfers love to come to this island, as it is known as the Golf Capital of the World.
